The full form of ILBS is The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS). This is a mono-super speciality hospital established to treat liver and biliary illnesses. It is located at New Delhi, India. It has been established by the Government of the Nation Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi as a self-sufficient Institute, under the Societies Registration Act - 1860, at New Delhi. Shiv Kumar Sarin was its founding director. It is a training hospital and has been given the popularity of Deemed University via the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. This institute has been created by our Government of Delhi to mold it into a committed global center of excellence for the prognosis and control of liver and biliary illnesses and to offer superior education and studies on this subject of Hepato-biliary Sciences.
