About the company:

JPSC stands for Jharkhand Public Service Commission. This came into existence during the year 2000 in the month of November. This started by carving out 18 districts that are a part of Bihar. JPSC was constituted under the provisions of the constitution of India according to Article 315 by Governor of Jharkhand. This commission was established with the main aim of making an organization that is completely responsible for recruiting of  government posts in the state of Jharkhand. Their main objectives are to conduct written examinations or competitive tests followed by interviews for the selections of various positions of their state. This commission is supervised under the aid of the state governor and headed by the chairman of the commission and members for their specific roles. Their functions and responsibilities include making recruitments to civil departmental posts and services. They also conduct interviews, written tests and screening tests for the same. They also advise the state government on the suitability of officers for their appointment on a promotion basis. They also function for transferring the civil service officers from one service to another one. They also head disciplinary cases under their jurisdiction.

Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for Indian public service commission posts.
