About the company

UPHESC stands for Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission during October of 1980. This is a corporate body that started working in the year 1982. Their mission is to do impartial and rational employment of highly capable candidates via written exam followed by an interview according to the criteria that is being decided by U.G.C and their state government of Uttar Pradesh for the posts of assistant professor and principal and in non-official post-graduate and graduate universities that are subsidized by state government.

Presently there is a facility of employing six extra members beside HOD in their commission. Tenancy of HOD is generally allocated for 5 years or 68 years of age whichever comes first while tenure of other posts is assigned for 5 years or 65 year age whichever comes first. But the appointment of admirable chairman and other members is full time and permanent.

There are positions of a Deputy Secretary, a Secretary and an Accounts Officer in the Commission. The employment on the post of secretary by their state government is done for commission not exceeding tenure of more than five years. Officer appointed for this title is of IAS level and their services and circumstances are similar to deputation that is decided by state government depending on the situations.

Application Process

For most of the posts released by UPHESC, the eligible candidates should apply on their official website. The application form has to be filled in, documents they mentioned in the advertisement pdf have to be uploaded. They have an application fee for some posts, and the payment has to be made by using online payment through various modes. There would not be any offline payment, or the paid fee would not be refunded once paid.

Other documents that have to be uploaded along with the application form are a passport size photo, a proper CV, matriculation, intermediate, graduation and post-graduation certificates depending on the post applied, relevant work experience certificates, caste or disability certificates in the format prescribed by the Government of India, if applicable – all these details would be given in their notification. So kindly pay attention to all the details before applying to the posts. Incomplete applications or candidates not qualifying specified requirements would be rejected without correspondence.

For some of the non-technical roles, there would not be any application fees for some positions. So, kindly check all the details before proceeding with your application.

Mode of Selection

The mode of recruitment for most of the positions notified by UPHESC is via written test or skill test followed by an interview. Initially after the deadline for applications gets over, they screen the candidates based on their eligibility and then call them to attend the written test. Candidates that clear the written test gets the opportunity to attend the interview.  Almost all the positions recruited by them are on a permanent basis.
