Job Description

Responsibilities:

Participate in fixed asset management activities including asset tracking and research
Provide leadership in the leased asset management process which includes identifying asset at end of lease and tracking the assets through return to vendor
Support the tracking of capacity-based asset consumption
Key contributor to Agile exercises around asset management
Participates in procurement exercises for technical teams including replacing leased assets
Be aware of budget plans of the responsibility centers in scope including professional and administrative expenses, lease, professional services and capital purchases
Participates in financial analysis around software and hardware decisions including supporting management budget forecasts through analytical exercises and reporting
Ensures the organization manages its existing assets effectively through optimization, reusing existing licenses and avoiding unnecessary purchases
Collaborates with many dynamic internal teams and their RC leaders and directors in the CTO
Creates financial reports for areas within the scope of responsibilities
Performs other duties related to financial management as assigned
Works with external vendors on asset-related exercises as needed

Qualifications/ Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree from a 4 year college or equivalent work experience
Four years minimum experience required in IT accounting functions surrounding assets with demonstrated financial analytical experience
Must be very proficient with Microsoft Office skills with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Proven understanding of IT operations
Proven ability to coordinate with all levels of technical and management staff
Proven ability to create documentation formatted in final form
Ability to meet tight deadlines and respond to ad hoc requests
Strong process development skills
Strong customer focus
Strong communication skills
