Job Description

Responsibilities:

Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports
Reconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close
Prepare journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles
Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits
Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation
Analyze and Prepare financial statements, including Balance sheets and statements of financial position
Assist with or lead the month end quarterly end close process for assigned businesses or groups
Performs work in a self-directed manner and works with less structured, more complex issues
Leverage technology to add controls and eliminate risk from financial processes
Prepare reports and analyses as required in Support of the monthly financial closing process and ongoing financial activities
Develop policies and procedures for the revenue team, in consultation with the management
Participate and help in the standardization of revenue analysis and accounting processes across the organization
Prepare analyses required to Support timely collection of accounts receivable
Provide internal service and Support to project managers and field finance leads on various revenue related financial issues

Qualifications/ Skills:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Post graduation in accounting / Finance or its Equivalent
4 to 8 years of experience in R2R / GL accounting
Intermediate level of proficiency with software tools (Ex: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF, PeopleSoft, Hyperion Essbase / Smart View etc.)
Proven excellent oral and written communication
