Assistant Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

• Represent Danfoss and meet sales targets within assigned region and accounts with established products.
• Meet sales plan targets and continuously grow market shares, quote, negotiate and close sales deals/orders.
• Continuously sell Danfoss solutions at target customers to get Danfoss selected as preferred supplier.
• Create and ensure introduction of relevant Value Proposition into the sales process.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, offers and negotiations based on value selling and customer needs assessment.
• Job required Close coordination with Factory/HO and customers
• Proactively support collecting overdue payments according to payment terms and ensure information flow to accounting.
• Collecting data related to market conditions and trends, competitors, and prices.
• First point of contact for after sales issues and transfer task to Sales Support, After Sales Service, ensure efficient information flow.
• Maintain customers, sales activities and data using CRM.
• Participate actively in marketing activities e.g. exhibitions, surveys, etc.

Qualification and Skills:

To be considered for this position, you must have a blend of engineering skills and sales tactics and be a self-driven individual with strong result orientation.

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 4-6 years proven experience in HVAC&R/Cold chain
• Most important is your business approach and interpersonal skills with customers at all levels. We expect you are strong at building and keeping good relations with new and existing clients.
• Strong knowledge of Commercials, Exports, and Imports.
• Structured and analytical way of working, self-driven and maintain a good overview in a busy day.
• Independence in performing daily tasks and business challenging thinking
• Good communication, presentation and reporting skills
• Travel mobility at the national and regional level – approx. 50% travel required
• Ready to work in matrix organization    
• Active use of English language - speaking and writing
• Professionally & ethically sound - ensure confidentiality of Danfoss & customer projects
