Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities
- Supporting Contract Managers in issuing claims (new/change in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.) and providing cost effective quality solutions as per customer requirement and delivers within budget and contract
- Providing support and technical advice to colleagues and assigning tasks for and directs engineers, technicians, and administrative staff
- Capable of carrying out the Project engineering Schemes, Line diagrams, graphic design, preparation of FAT, SAT related to the project
- Capable of performing the tasks by following the approved Engineering process documents
- Assisting customers on technical issues, interacts with official contacts, contractors and other staff within your scope of deliverables
- Involving in travelling to customer place for site erection and commissioning activities
Skills/ Qualifications:
- Degree in B.E/ B. Tech in in Electronics and/or Electrical or Instrumentation or Diploma
- Minimum 2-4 years experience in Automation world either through engineering, commissioning, testing of automation systems/ Control systems
- Should have sound knowledge and hands on experience on various field bus protocols (like Profibus, Modbus TCP/Ip, Profinet, IEC, Foundation field bus, etc.)
- Working experience in Power plants (Thermal or Hydro)
- Working experience of closed loop control system for Power Plant applications & experience in ABB DCS 800xA, S plus is added advantage
