Job Description

Responsibilities:

Perform general clerical operations tasks that are routine in nature
Receive, log, batch, and distribute work
File, photocopy, and answer phones
Prepare and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
Regularly receive direction from supervisor and escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles
Work under close supervision following established procedures
Overall responsibility includes but not limited to - Accountable for the performance of Private Banking Administration, Liquid Collateral Monitoring, Optimist Spreading, Commercial Real Estate spreading, and Lease Reviews.
Work on self-development and take feedback with positive stride
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with internal customers
Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Skills/ Qualifications:

Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical skills with ability to apply critical judgment and come up with effective decisions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency for detailed documentation with ability to validate work
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools like MS Excel, Word
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment and perform under pressure with a high motivation and able to meet stringent deadlines with strong sense of urgency and results and detail orientation
• Ability to plan, prioritize and execute assigned tasks with minimal supervision
• Excellent research and exception handling skills
• Flexibility to work in night shifts, or weekends/holidays if deemed necessary by the business.
• Demonstrate integrity and maintain accuracy and consistency
• Good analytical skills and attention to details
• Good understanding of banking business
• Should have strong financial/accounting knowledge

Required Qualifications:

Experience in operations support, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Graduate/MBA with Finance specialization
