Job Description
Responsibilities:
Lead a team that
- Work on financial statements of Venture Capital Portfolio companies and use our proprietary tool to standardize and upload.
- Work on financial and legal documents of portfolio companies of Venture capital firms and analyze various economic rights and share amounts from documents such as Articles of Incorporation, Cap Table, Share Purchase Agreements, etc
You will also
- Drive financial data implementation successfully for market-leading private capital firms
- Multitask, analyze, and manage Capital Structures data across a variety of software applications
- Coordinate with members from multiple departments of the client’s organization to gather all necessary documentation and ensure quality standards
- Functional direction, guiding the team, and advising on complex Implementation related issues
- Manage all personnel and administrative affairs, including but not limited to, recruitment, training and development, and performance rean view
- Take active part in hiring the right candidates at the right designation and help improve the hiring price individual-level
- Setting individual level objectives in line with the organizational goals andachievethem achieving them by regular monitoring and mentoring
- Aligning resources with both the business needs & employee skillset and aspirations; Maintaining visibility of available bandwidth with managing team and man and age allocation, prioritization of new tasks/projects
- Know the strengths your weaknesses of you team members inside out to assign the right rad-hocces for each adhoc task at hand
- Monitoring and measuring team performance through the adoption of KPIs, to ensure quality, reward success,es, scale operations and drive efficiencies
- Develop and maintain a culture of excellence in service and delivery by leading by an example
- Look out for early signs of potential attrition in your team and keep your manager posted. Help the Management by providing timely feedback about the team and suggest measures for positively engaging them and keeping them motivated
Qualifications/ Skills:
- Around 6 years of experience with an MBA from a reputed institute. Accounting or finance degrees are strongly preferred.
- An experience of leading teams in the past would be a huge plus
- Understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, reporting and analysis.
- A familiarity with Venture capital and/or Private equity companies a plus.
- Possess the highest ethical standards and a strong work ethic, willing to go to the extra mile with a hands-on attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work independently in an efficient and responsible manner. Extreme attention to detail and an ability to document processes.
- Experience working effectively with others in a team setting while under the pressure of deadlines.
- Willingness to work long hours at critical times (i.e., quarterly reporting) based on need.
- The desire to work for a company where individual contributions have significant impact on the success of the Team as a whole. A positive attitude is required
