Job Description

Responsibilities:

Support Site Finance leader for the whole ISC finance processes: month-end closing accruals, payroll reconciliations, cycle count reporting results, interpretation and surveillance on SOX requirement compliance, cost center reporting, support standard costing exercise and fixed asset verification. Shrinkage, scrap and E&O Analysis, manufacturing fee calculation at month end, reporting on Reman vs New. Loading of AOP and forecasts to HFM and SAP.
Act as back up of Site Finance leader.
Responsible for providing management with key insight into financial performance highlighting areas of improvement, identifying root causes and partnering with management on corrective actions and improvement plans. The successful candidate is expected to coordinate work with the Garrett Finance COEs to ensure management information requirements are adequately met with the provision of standard financial metrics, updated performance reports and analysis.
Ensure financial and operational objectives are met whilst maintaining a strong and effective set of financial and operational controls for revenue recognition, inventory valuation/management, capital investment and fixed asset valuation.
Provide regular updates to local and senior finance / ISC leadership on forecasted performance against targets and associated risks / opportunities. This person is expected to play a key lead role with local management and other functions to deliver productivity improvements, cost reduction plans, working capital improvements.
Working with the Cheadle site and ISC Finance to assist in providing a formal forecast and annual operating plans (AOP) and updates around factory performance.
Support the ISC organization in ad-hoc projects impacting the site / SBU.

Qualifications/ Skills:

Education/Qualification:

Degree in Finance or related Degree.

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of solid experience in multinational company or accounting firm and/or multinational company experience in Finance Departments, at least one as Senior Auditor.
SOX compliance and legislation.

Key Skills and Knowledge:

Good communication skills. Proficient in English.
SAP, HFM and Microsoft proficient.
