Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Duty Manager in shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements Are communicated to the team members
- Supervise front office operations during assigned shift including:
- Maintenance of guest information
- Maintenance of information about local events
- Compile occupancy statistics
- Supervise the use of he public address system
- Supervise group bookings
- Supervise cashiering activities during shift including:
- Cash handling and banking procedure
- Dealing with irregular payments
- Instructing staff in credit policies and facilities
- Instructing staff in cash security procedures
- Carry out debtor control
- Prepare reports
- Supervise the cashiering system
- Provide on the job training for front office team members
- Ensure Guest satisfaction and ensure guest needs are properly taken care by front office staff.
- Timely escalation of unsolved guest complaints to superiors
- Preparation of all front office reports and ensures guest feedbacks are properly recorded.
- Ensure IHG standards are followed by the employees during Guest Check Inn/ Check out
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
- 2 years of Experience in Front Office operations including supervisory level
