Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Duty Manager in  shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements Are communicated to the team members
  • Supervise front office operations during assigned shift including:
  • Maintenance of guest information
  • Maintenance of information about local events
  • Compile occupancy statistics
  • Supervise the use of he public address system
  • Supervise group bookings
  • Supervise cashiering activities during shift including:
  • Cash handling and banking procedure
  • Dealing with irregular payments
  • Instructing staff in credit policies and facilities
  • Instructing staff in cash security procedures
  • Carry out debtor control
  • Prepare reports
  • Supervise the cashiering system
  • Provide on the job  training  for front office team members
  • Ensure Guest satisfaction and ensure guest needs are properly taken care by front office staff.
  • Timely escalation of unsolved  guest complaints to superiors
  • Preparation of all front office reports and ensures guest feedbacks are properly recorded.
  • Ensure IHG standards are followed by the employees during Guest Check Inn/ Check out

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma  in  Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • 2 years of Experience in Front Office operations including supervisory level
