Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Hands on knowledge on Network is a must, should be familiar with major operational activities.
• Provides analytical support in the conceptualization, development and implementation of enterprise systems, networks or application software, as well as desktop applications.
• Provides technical advice and consultation on complex, critical issues and escalations.
• Defines specifications for complex operating software programming applications and modifies and maintains complex existing applications.
• Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.

•Remotely support customers and/or onsite technicians test and turn-ups of WAN and LAN equipment.
•Work with engineering department to develop customer and device specific knowledge base.
•Provide Tier II support and escalate tickets to Tier III as needed.
•Provide advanced troubleshooting of switches, routers, wireless infrastructure and IP telephony for the client.
•Perform fault isolation and resolution in a methodical and thorough manner in accordance with SLA.
•Handle basic changes to the infrastructure involving Vlans, port configuration etc.
•Maintaining design documents for all network infrastructure.

Skills/ Qualifications:

• University degree or equivalent education and experience

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in networks

•CCNA a must, CCNP added advantage

•Ability to support multiple clients/ technologies as part of shared support delivery.

•Must be client focused, display interpersonal skills and be an effective team member.
