Product Manager, Intercity & Hourly

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design rider product experiences that improves reliability and drives growth and adoption and Driver product experiences that increases our earner proposition, increases transparency and builds trust
• Develop pricing systems that allows Uber to drive sustainable unit economics and improve margins
• Work closely with the regional and global operations organization to integrate business processes and policies onto the platform
• Collaborate with the design team and guide their investments for research, prototyping, experimentation, and overall design thinking
• Be incredibly truth-seeking. Collect data that is vital to advise product direction, whether in the form of competitive intel, rider behavior, or other business metrics. Solicit and welcome critical feedback.
• Make tradeoff decisions based on technical and business insights and experimentation
• Supervise and measure launched products and feed insights back into the product development process to drive growth
• Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, from internal partners to Uber executives, and employees to riders.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of product management experience. A track record of partnering with engineering and data science to build complex, data-driven systems that deliver compelling customer value.
• Excellent data analysis skills and data-driven decision-making ability, with a high design bar and a mentality of starting with the customer first and working backwards
• A deep desire to grow and learn
