Research Analyst - Valuations Jobs in CRISIL - Mumbai

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining valuation models for finance teams, including coordinating with 3rd party independent valuation specialists
• Supporting the monthly and quarterly valuation process by creating deliverables including portfolio company dashboards, portfolio summaries, liquidity analyses, etc. 
• Adhering to best practices in the development of valuation methodologies, including compliance with ASC 820 Fair Value Guidance
• Performing analysis to incorporate all relevant information to the valuation process including analysis of the transaction structure, the modeling and methodology adopted, available market data and/or any proxies considered appropriate, applicable reserves/valuation adjustments and any relevant regulatory, risk or accounting considerations
• Assisting with LP and stakeholder reporting by maintaining company performance metrics and valuation analytics on a centralized platform
• Supporting the year-end audit valuation testing by responding to audit inquiries relating to valuation models and related documentation
• Prepare valuation presentations for finance teams whenever required                  
• Perform special projects and ad-hoc analyses determined by the needs of Senior Management
