Job Description

Responsibilities:

Deal Compliance: Escalation point to de-risk complex deals in collaboration with pre-sales and operations teams to ensure that they can be compliantly & operationally executed vs. controls in place. Raise the knowledge of Deal teams by transferring risk knowledge to enable successful deal execution. (Preference will be given to individuals with working knowledge around Microsoft Commerical Cloud/Subscriptions Policies & Processes)
Business Continuity Management (BCM): Responsible for ensuring all BCM plans are in place and tested in advance of each financial quarter end.
Audit: Ensuring the business is audit ready at all times and assisting internal and external auditors in audit planning/execution.
Risk Management; Ensure that Compliance risks are tracked and maintained via risk register
Privacy: Responsibility for investigating all privacy incidents and recommendations to resolve key gaps
Ongoing support of operations anti-corruption controls, data management controls & testing, trade controls and testing, and fraud investigations with legal teams
SOX Controls: Partner with Finance teams to ensure SOX Continuous Monitoring controls are adhered to, driving Correction of Error (COE) for all compliance findings discovered through audits/continuous monitoring
Launch: Supports compliance related assessments for launch in partnership with Launch teams
Optimize: Support and manage compliance-related projects/matters that are in flight.

Skills/ Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field (Operations, Accounting, Finance or IT) or equivalent experience
Minimum 6 years professional experience in risk management, compliance, regulatory or other governance and control related roles
Experience in deal risk management, legal/regulatory controls, policy & enforcement
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem solving, with strong judgement to make decisions in ambiguous situations
Experience working in a fast-paced international environment, managing stakeholders, processes and collaborating with diverse teams across multiple time zones and cultures for shared outcomes
Demonstrated change & project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities (open, confident communicator effective in senior levels of engagement)
Working knowledge of international business practises
