Job Description

Responsibilities:

A) Controllership:

Supervise overall accounting function for the financial accounting team
To assist in timely and accurate month-end book closure
To assist in the preparation of Annual Accounts as per IND AS and US GAAP including notes to accounts
Prepare various reports for the senior management team and Group to analyze the financials of the company;
Provide technical support to the financial accounting team for resolving queries and managing escalations
Review necessary workings/files for statutory audit, internal audit Group audit, etc., and liaise with the auditor

B) Treasury:

Supervise treasury functions, and review weekly fund flows, investments, etc.
Maintain and develop relationships with bankers
Review monthly actual cash flow against forecasted figures to identify gaps between planned and actual cash flow
Provide accurate rolling 3-6-12 month cash forecasting for management decisions
Support other treasury projects and related tasks that might arise from time to time.

C) Tax and Compliances:

Initiate and manage tax audits and statutory audits and liaise with the external auditors;
Review of all XBRL reports for filing with authorities
Handle various tax and regulatory compliance including GST, Direct Tax, etc.

D) Business and Operations:

Supervise and review Business plans
Prepare business presentations as may be required for the management
Responsible for partnering and driving an element of business unit performance
Support/Analyze/Advise the relevant business team on a daily basis.
Influence and drive business decisions/actions with appropriate analysis and comments

E) Team Management:

Coach and mentor the team as and when required.
Assist and mentor executives in order to ensure that business objectives are met.
Conduct performance appraisals for team members and provide timely feedback;

Skills/ Qualifications:

CWA/MBA Finance/CA with 1-3 years of Experience, preferably from the Big 4 and Startup/Fintech Industry
Expert knowledge in MS Office (xls, PPT, word, etc)
Working Experience of ERPs
Good organizational and time-management skills
Ability to deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
