Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic insights to Deloitte’s leadership on key social media programs and initiatives related to (but not limited to) growth strategies, innovation, industry disruptions, and ecosystems.
- Analyze market trends to ideate, discuss, and develop strategies for content optimization on social media platforms. Support leadership to advise, develop, and execute content strategies that drive traffic and improve engagement.
- Use research techniques and tools to analyze social media conversations/monitoring to drill down, slice, and segment data to provide actionable business insights
- Manage and contribute to social media content calendar
- Define the most important social media KPIs to help understand the effectiveness of leadership's programs/initiatives and track the results to prove their successes.
- Providing weekly, monthly, quarterly web analytics and social media stats reporting, building dashboards & ad-hoc analysis
- Assist with tracking competitors’ activity on social media. Help define what differentiates competitors' social media initiatives. Identify key driving factors for an initiative’s success on social media.
- Leverage online tools to collect, refine, visualize, and analyze historical social media data to benchmark digital and social initiatives and form a logical structure to present a compelling story.
- Monitor social media trends and identify upcoming tools, applications, and channels that help simplify analysis and drive insights for successful social media campaigns.
- Effectively leverage internal social media and collaboration tools to connect people-to-people and people-to-content
- Present crisp and actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership with an acute focus on the "so what" for Deloitte’s clients and businesses.
- Liaise with colleagues from Deloitte offices spread across the globe and stakeholders to understand, refine, and manage project expectations and priorities.
Skills/ Qualifications:
Core Skills required
Domain knowledge:
- Strong understanding of different social media platforms and relevant metrics to identify key success factors
- Thorough knowledge of content management systems, social media metrics, keyword research, search engine optimization and search engine marketing tools
- Creative mindset with the ability to help represent presence on various social media channels
- Capability of identifying target audience, preferences, and developing content strategy to engage audience
- Exposure to tools and techniques that help increase brand awareness
- Possesses a strong desire and knack for business relevancy and remains in-tune with the newest trends, viral postings, and up-and-coming social media platforms
- Interested in following the latest trends in social media, including channels, tools, and technologies
- Skills/ knowledge on Digital Campaign Management will be an added advantage
Research and visualization skills
- Ability to clearly understand the project objectives through effective listening, comprehension, and probing skills
- Good knowledge of social media research tools, databases, monitoring tools, and public sources of information
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Sprinklr/Meltwater/Net Base Quid or any other social media management tool
- Ability to validate/triangulate sources for relevancy and accuracy
- Experience in processing information in compelling visualization within logical structure is preferred skill
Business writing
- Exceptional business writing skills—narrative, appealing, succinct. Should be able to convey complex ideas in a compelling and easier way through writing
- Strong storyboarding skills are preferred.
- Articulate ideas and point of views in a confident and effective manner in client calls during all stages of the project lifecycle
- Communication should reflect logical thinking and consultative approach
Qualifications
- MBA from a reputed school in India or outside OR
- Masters’ degree in communications, marketing, or related fields
Years of Experience:
- Over all 2-4 years with at least 2 years post-MBA, with prior experience in business research in client service or captive setup
- Client-service exposure or experience in working with senior leadership directly is a preferred
- Experience working on social media monitoring tools such as Meltwater, NetBase Quid, etc.,
- Hands on experience with PR, brand management, and digital marketing campaigns is preferred
