Job Description

Responsibilities:

You will create solutions collateral that can be leveraged by our customers and partners. The candidate must be able to create content including written, presentation, and video form. The topics will range from detailed technology implementation guides to higher-level "how it works" content.
You will analyze and understand VMware solutions that span multiple product sets
Maintaining deep technical and business knowledge of VMware solution areas and develop new technology integrations and solution capabilities. The candidate must have the technical capabilities to determine the underlying technologies and architectures that are used in various offerings.
Managing multiple medium-to-large projects simultaneously, set priorities with measurable objectives, and monitor and report on the process, progress, and results.
Responsible for maintaining lab-setups that are used to demonstrate proof-of-concept and technology-training to field, partners & customers
Publish blogs and other technical literatures to advance marketing of VMware Telco products and solutions.
Lead enablement activities
Collaborating cross-functionally with peer teams and leadership. Specifically you will collaborate with PLM (Product Line Management), PMM (Product Marketing Manager), TMEs (Technical Marketing Engineers) and Sales organizations to coordinate efforts, jointly identify solutions messaging, and generally co-create customer solutions guidance. The candidate must have a proven track record of working across multiple organizations and communicating clearly.

Qualifications/ Skills:

Education and Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent
5 to 10 Years of Enterprise Networking Industry Experience
Experience in a Technical Marketing Organization preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems
The ability to easily communicate complicated concepts to non-technical people
A proven track record of developing and delivering technical training material aimed at customers, partners or sales teams
Experience with VMware technology and product experience beyond vSphere
The ideal applicant will have a firm grasp of cloud technologies, operational considerations and practices, and of the complexities of virtual lab environments across multiple product and solution areas..
CI tools (Jenkins or Bamboo or Git-lab), Terraform, GC Deployment.
Good understanding and hands-on experience of Dockers, Kubernetes, Containers & Microservices.
Working-level knowledge of VMware’s SDDC product stack is strongly preferred.
Experience with public cloud providers like AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle Cloud is a plus

Knowledge And Skills

Using, evaluating, and developing appropriate engineering design tools and software packages.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter, detail oriented with good organizational and documentation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals, and negotiate options at the business unit and executive levels.
