Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Works as a team member
• Learns information engineering processes and tools
• Learns products/product component(s); relies on subject matter experts in Engineering for domain knowledge
• Works effectively in virtual teams; receives guidance from team members in any location
• Escalates issues when required
• Implements documentation solutions based on input from subject matter experts and other technical writing leaders
• Is aware of requirements in areas of defined tasks
• Receives task estimates typically from supervisor/mentor with some input; tasks are of limited number and duration
• Authors simple documentation assignments
• Edits and verifies completeness and accuracy of authored documentation solutions
• Handles Contacts and UCFs in defined product areas with assistance; expedites resolutions
• Uses strong writing and technical communication skills to create product information deliverables that support the installation and use of Unisys products and solutions
• Applies engineering and technical communication methods and technologies to design, develop, evaluate, test and support information about technology products and solutions

Qualifications/ Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in technical communication or equivalent discipline (BE/MCA/B Tech/B.Sc./B.A./M.Sc./M.A)
• Knowledge of technical writing concepts. Certification in technical documentation is preferred.
• 0 to 3 years of experience in relevant field.
