Job Description

Responsibilities:

Participate in review of Client solution requirements for testability
Develop, review, and execute test plans and test scripts for Clients in the Sustainment phase of the customer lifecycle
Participation in the support of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automation testing strategies
Submit, track, and escalate, if needed, any issues found during testing to ensure that they are resolved
Reproduce issues when necessary to assist in resolving issues
Perform exploratory and sanity testing
Proficient understanding of software test methodologies/procedures
Assist other members of the Quality Assurance Department on special projects and continuous process improvement initiatives as needed
Interface with other members to effectively communicate and resolve all reported issues in a timely manner
Willingness and ability to mentor/train other QAs as required
Understand and be aware of code changes that may impact test coverage and execution
Introduce process improvement initiatives
Develop status reports based on test completion and test findings
Present internal KPI and initiatives reporting to management
Develop recommendations based on test results to improve or correct design.
Perform root cause and escape defect analysis

Qualification/ Skills:

Working knowledge of object-oriented software languages, HTML, JavaScript
Test automation and testing tools
Ability to listen, discern critical information, provide appropriate empathy, form judgments, and recommend solutions based on existing available data
Team oriented, cooperative, and flexible
Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work with a wide range of people at all levels of the organization
Detail oriented
Quickly learn a new proprietary software programming language and tools

Education

Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
