Job Description

Responsibilities :

The Workday HCM Technical Specialist will be responsible for providing application maintenance, configuration and support for Nasdaq’s HR systems. The Specialist is expected to have expert level knowledge on all technical aspects of Workday, including but not limited to tools related to Integrations and Reporting.

• Receive, analyze, process, manage and address technical user inquiries and requests.
• Provide technical solutions and configure the application per business requirements, such that it needs minimal deviation from delivered processes.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal systems and third party vendors.
• Execute recurring and ad-hoc activities/processes required to maintain and administer HR systems.
• Create technical specification documents for new Integrations and Reports and document solutions for future reference.
• Provide solutions for efficiency especially for areas that see repeated/ recurring issues and incidents.
• Perform end-to-end testing and create test cases.
• Participate and adhere to various phases of Software Development Life-Cycle.
• Adhere to established processes to ensure quality of work.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with different groups.

Qualifications/ Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in configuring Workday HCM applications (version 30 and above).
• At least two (2) years of experience working with Workday Integration tools (EIB and Studio), Report Writer and Calc Fields.
• Experience with Workday delivered Core Connectors for Benefits (CCB) and Payroll.
• Experience with Web services - REST and SOAP API programming and implementation.
• Working knowledge of Workday Security model and configuration.
• Experience working in both Application Development and Production Support environments.
• Experience with requirements gathering and business systems analysis that includes working closely with HR Partner as well as IT for configuration/ implementation of functionality.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally within a global environment.
• Willingness to work during the US business hours (US Eastern Time).
