All India Institute of Medical Sciences [AIIMS] of Nagpur was established in the year 1956, under the Parliament Act 1956. This was designed to serve as a nucleus to nurture the excellence in all aspects of wellness and health program all over the country. This institute is one among all the four AIIMS institutes that are announced in the budget speech of the year 2014 and 2015. The main objectives of this institute are to correct the regional imbalances in the availability of reliable and reasonable tertiary healthcare services and also to supplement facilities for quality medical learning in the nation.
Within a short span of time this university has been persistent in its determinations to deliver best medical education and training with all contemporary facilities with full support of government medical college, Nagpur and is growing leaps and bounds. Continuing towards flattering a Center of Excellence in education, research and patient care, they have conceitedly accepted the first batch of fifty budding doctors during the year 2018. The institute purposes to develop world class amenities to attain brilliance in the area of Medical Research. They are also vigorously engaged in emerging infrastructure and procurement of equipment for carrying out medical research to aid the society in terms of inventions in the field of health care.
Application procedure
Advertisement and application forms are found in their official website. The duly filled application form along with the originals and two self attested photocopies of all relevant certificates relating to age, qualifications and experience with two self attested colored passport size photograph should be brought at the time of Interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Interview.
Candidates must fill in the application form in MS Word format as per the proforma given along with the notification and take a printout of the same. The filled in application (with the photograph and signature) may be scanned in pdf format. The mentioned list of documents are to be sent to the e-mail id mentioned in the notification. Applicants must fill all the details carefully since after submission of application request for change in any information at any later stage will not be considered.
Selection process:
Shortlisting of candidates would be done by their authorities after the deadline. Shortlisted people would be informed to attend the interview through their registered email id. Shortlisted people would be called to attend for either a written examination or directly a face to face interview based on the job designation.
In other cases, where they mention a walk-in-interview in their notification. In that case, the selection is made depending on their performance during the interview. Carry all the important documents that are mentioned in the notification to the interview venue. There would be an application form along with the notification that the candidate has to fill up and carry it with them to the interview.
