BRO stands for Border Roads Organisation. This organisation provides support for the road construction executive force in our country, and also this comes as a part of the armed forces of our country. They maintain and develop road transport networks in our country’s border regions and also neighboring countries. This organization is established in the year 1960 in order to secure country’s borders and to improve infrastructure in rural areas of the north – east and northern states of our country. The government of India set up the border roads development board in order to make sure of expeditious execution and coordination of projects.

Application Procedure
The mode of application for most of the positions notified by them is through registered post. Once you go to their official website and in their careers page you will find all the current openings. Click on the post you are interested in. Go through all the details given in their notification. Make sure you are an eligible candidate and possess all the eligibility conditions mentioned in their advertisements such as educational qualification required, work experience and number of years, maximum age limit, any reservations if applicable, etc. There would be an application form in the same document as the notification. Take a printout of the application form, fill up all the details required. Attach the supporting documents that are required. Then post the application form along with the documents to their postal address.
Selection Process
Generally, the mode of selection varies according to the position. But in most cases, they conduct a written test to all the eligible and screened candidates, they offer the job based on their performance in that written test.
