CAMPCO is the full form of the Central Arecanut and Cocoa Marketing and Processing Co-operative Limited. This was formed during the year 1973, situated at Mangalore.

The factory was set up during 1986 at a preliminary investment of around 116.7 million rupees and a licensing capacity to manufacture around 8800 metric tonnes. Later, the factory also stepped into technical cooperation undertaking with NESTLE India limited, for broaden your horizons product brands. It has been manufacturing a diversity of products – semi finished items like cocoa butter, cocoa mass, and cocoa powder and finished products in count line, moulded line, chocolate drink etc. Their chocolate has gained widespread market admiration in our country.

The main objectives of CAMCPO since their beginning are procuring of Arecanut and Cocoa that are grown by member farmers and if required, from other cultivators on an organisation basis or on absolute acquisitions basis and also sale of Arecanut and Cocoa and allied products to the best benefit of members and also to progress loans to members on the pledge of goods and to do all other required things to transfer out the impartial. They also develop and promote Areca and Cocoa marketing, cultivation, and processing.
