About the Commission
The Goa Public Service Commission is a body formed by the Constitution of our country. The Commission directs the government on all topics relating to state civil services mentioned to it under Article 320 (3) of our Constitution of India.
The appropriations from the Government are established in the method of schemes representing number of vacancies in a specific post in a section or force and the mode of substantial up the vacancies. The approach of satisfying up the pillars is also by direct recruitment welcoming submissions from the open market or by method of elevation from inferior grades which are called feeder evaluations. The employment is severely administered and directed by Employment Guidelines framed by the Administration under Article 309 of the Constitution under the information from the Commission. In case of direct recruitment the Commission issues announcement, informs the number of jobs with requirements of vital qualifications and knowledge as per the employment rules.
The main functions is to conduct tests for engagements to the civil services of the State of Goa. The Goa Public Service Commission will be referred by the state on all topics relating to approaches of employments to civil services and for civil positions.
Application Procedure
Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for the posts notified by any Public Service Commission jobs. Interested candidates are advised to go through the official notification carefully on their official website. Check for all the eligibility criteria a candidate has to possess for that particular position. Keep all the points mentioned in their notification verified before starting with your application. Follow the instructions carefully given in their notification. A new user has to do the registration process and keep the login credentials ready. Selection process
For most of the public service commissions, they generally conduct a preliminary exam, mains exam and an interview to recruit candidates for their commission. Eligible candidates would be notified through their registered email id to appear for the preliminary test. After clearing the preliminary test, those candidates have to attempt the mains exam. Once they clear the mains exam would get an opportunity to attend the face to face interview. The final job offer is based on their cumulative performance in all those rounds. The most deserving candidates would get the job after completing their document verification.

Similar to all other public service commissions of India, this commission also releases notifications for various posts such as medical officer, service executive, Police inspector, agriculture development officer, project managers in different classes, scientists, research officers, assistant public relation officer, civil judge, assistant manager in information technology, associate professor, district sports officer, deputy collector, assistant professors and professors in several specializations, Veterinary Officer, Assistant Labour Officer, Assistant Director of Fisheries, etc.
