About the company:
The full form of GPSC is The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC). This commission was formed under article 315 within the Constitution of India in the year 1960. Their main job is to choose candidates for civil service jobs within the Indian state of Gujarat in keeping with deserves of the candidates and the guidelines of reservation. It was established in the year 1960.
In line with Article no.316 Constitution of India, the energy to choose a member and chairman in their very own state’s PSC is in the hands of the State Governor.
The chairman and participants of GPSC can live on their function until 6 years or sixty two years; in each of them, that is early. Dinesh Dasa is the present chairman of GPSC.
The primary function of GPSC is to conduct examinations to appoint to the government services in their state. They advise the state government in matters relating to various civil services in their state and all the disciplinary issues that affect the government employees. They handle any other issues that may be concerned by the governor.
Application Procedure:
Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for GPSC posts. Applicants are advised to go through the notification carefully on Gujarat Public Service Commission official website. Please check for all the eligibility criteria like education qualification required for that particular post, age limit, relevant work experience in the required field if expected, etc. Keep all these points checked before proceeding further. Follow the instructions carefully given in their notification. The applicants are supposed to apply only online on the careers page of their official site by clicking on the ‘Online Application.’ Enter all the necessary fields given in the application form and upload your required documents (please follow the instructions carefully while uploading your documents like the dimensions, format and size). Pay the application fee if it is applicable. Review your details, and if everything you entered is correct, then you can go ahead and submit your application.
Selection process:
After successful submission of the required documents and completing the application form, wait for further notice from them. For most of the posts like a civil engineer or an electrical engineer, they select the candidates through a preliminary test, mains test and a face to face interview. Eligible candidates will have to attend the preliminary test initially. On clearing the preliminary exam, they would be eligible to attend the mains exam. So finally, the applicants who would clear the mains exam would get the opportunity to attend the interview. The final job offer would be given based on their performance during the interview. The candidates get appointed on successfully clearing the interview and document verification.
