About the Institute

Institute of Hotel Management - IHM Ahmedabad, situated in Ahmedabad and was established in the year 1972. Earlier this was started as a food craft institute, and later it got upgraded as IHM Ahmedabad in the year 1984 by Ministry of Tourism, government of India. Their campus is environmental friendly and even the buildings they have are earthquake resistant. They have state-of-the-art infrastructure comprising of auditorium. They even have global standard of learning facilitators and teaching methodology. This institute is also pioneer in starting the B.Sc. H & HA or Hospitality and Hotel Administration in Vegetarian Cuisine Option from the academic year of 2016 and 2017.

Mode of Recruitment

The recruitment mode generally depends on position to position. For some positions they recruit through skill test and for other posts they conduct either teaching ability test and subject skill test.

This process and method of selection depends on the post. They do not provide any travelling or dining allowance for attending the tests or interviews.
