Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati is the 6th member of the IIT community and was established in the year 1994. The educational program of IIT Guwahati started in the year 1995. Currently, this Institute has 11 technical departments and 5 inter-disciplinary educational centers masking all of the main engineering departments, technological and arts disciplines, offering different programs like BTech, BDes, MA, MDes, MTech, MSc and Ph.D. Within a brief duration of time, this Institute has accumulated global magnificence infrastructure for its superior research and has been geared up with advanced medical and engineering instruments. Application Procedure:

To apply, first visit their official website, and go to the recruitment section and click on notification of the job you are willing to apply. Register on their website and login with your credentials. Kindly check all the minute details before proceeding with your application form. Fill up all the necessary details and attach your supporting documents. For some posts, there might be some nominal application fee and that is supposed to be paid through an online mode of payment. Selection process:

Once the application deadline gets over, shortlisting for face to face interviews is done by them. For almost all the notifications, the mode of selection would be through interview. The shortlisted candidates would be called to attend the interview on a specified date and time. The same would be notified through their registered email id and they post the list on their careers page of the website. So shortlisted candidates can go and attend the interview.

For some of the posts they release notifications for walk-in interviews and in such case, you do not need to submit an application form. The interested candidates can directly go and attend the interview on the date they specify in the notification.
