The Kerala’s postal circle was formed in the year 1961, after it got bifurcated from then Madras. Prior to this bifurcation they had a postal service called as ‘Anchal Service’, providing their services to Travancore and Kochi. When the separate circle is formed in the year 1961, the development of their telegraph and postal services in the state of Kerala got accelerated. The circle was upgraded into a major circle and got placed under the charge of postmaster general. Their vision is to make their services and products to be the customer’s prior choice. The mission of Kerala Postal circle is to withstand its place as the largest postal network in the world touching the lives of every civilian in the nation and also to provide insurance mail, parcel, banking, money transfer and retail services with speed and reliability. They strive to deliver services to the clients on value for money basis. They also ensure that the staff of their postal service are proud to be its chief asset and serve its customers with a human touch. They also aim to endure in order to deliver social security services and to permit last mile connectivity as a government of India platform.

Application Procedure

Candidates must ensure to go through the notification and instructions thoroughly and understood well before registering himself for applying online. Ensure you are an eligible candidate by all respects for the Circle/Post you selected. Only one Registration is to be made for one candidate. The same registration number should be used for submission of applications during the cycle to any of the circles. Candidates need not submit any physical application. During your application, make sure to upload all the mandate documents such as photo, signature, SSC certificate, community certificate and other documents should be submitted in legible and clearly scanned. Since, Non submission and submission of non legible blurred documents will be summarily rejected and the application is liable for rejection for all purposes. And certificates with vital information blurred, his/her candidature will be rejected. Candidates should ensure that they are eligible for making fee payment before making payment. Since, Fee once paid will not be refunded. Try to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the website on account of heavy load on the website during the last days.

Selection Procedure

Selection is made as per the automatic generated merit list as per the rules based on the candidates online submitted applications. No weightage will be given for higher educational qualification. Only marks obtained in 10th standard of approved Boards accumulated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals will be the norms for confirming the selection. Passing of all the subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory subject to the conditions referred in Clause B of Notifications pertaining to Required Educational Qualifications for taking candidate into account for calculating the merit.
