About
Kerala RTC means Kerala State Road Transport Corporation. This is owned by the state government of Kerala and it is a road transport corporation. Kerala RTC is one of India’s oldest state run public transport services. This corporation is divided into three zones, namely south, north and central, and their headquarters is situated in Kerala’s capital Thiruvananthapuram. Their RTC travels around 1,200,000 to 1,422,546 kilometres daily. They travel in 6389 routes and 6241 buses. Every day on average Kerala RTC transports 3.145 million passengers.
Kerala RTC started running in the year 1965, after the Road Transport Corporation Act, started in the year 1950. This road transport department became autonomous during the year 1965. The Kerala RTC’s commitment is to provide the most hygienic and comfortable services to the citizens at an affordable price. They provide great priority to the safety of the travellers by constantly ensuring the fitness of their vehicles.
Application Procedure:

Go through the given details clearly, check for all the eligibility criteria given by them like basic education qualification that is required and the specialization they are looking for, maximum age limit and exemptions, work experience required and the field it should be in, etc. There would be a link to start your application procedure. Selection process:
For most of the jobs advertised by them, the selection procedure is through a face to face interview. After successful submission of your application, they shortlist the candidates that are eligible for the interview. They inform the same via email or post it on their website. So the shortlisted candidates would have to attend the interview on the specified date with all the documents required. In some cases, they would open for walk-in interviews. For that, the job offer is given to the eligible candidates based on the performance during the interview.
