The full form of KMSCL is Kerala Medical Services Corporation. This is totally under the guidance of Government. As per section 617 of Companies Act 1956, they provide services to the different health care institutions under the department of family welfare. The company was merged in December 2007. Their main objective is to play a significant role as the central procurement agency for all necessary equipment and drugs for all the public healthcare institutions under the department.

This corporation procures drugs worth above 600 crores rupees and more than 400 various types of medical equipment. They also provide the needed services in the medical sector. This company has also been commended with the setting up and using all types of modern paramedical and medical facilities in hospitals, diagnostic centers, pathological labs, x-ray and scanning facilities, etc. The Government of Kerala formulated KMSCL to serve the best in healthcare infrastructure services to more than 1300 health care centers under the department of health and family welfare, Kerala.

Application Procedure:

Selection process:

After successful submission of the required documents and completing the application form, eligible candidates will have to attend a written test for the selection of the posts. They will have to participate in the interview after successfully clearing the test. If the number of applicants is less than or equal to 15, the mode of selection is through face to face interview. There would not be a written test in such a case.

The candidates get appointed on successfully clearing the interview and document verification. The jobs will be offered on a contract basis, and the appointment is given initially for a period of one year. The period of the contract is extended if the performance of the candidate is satisfactory.
