LHMC stands for Lady Hardinge Medical College, this college is one of the oldest and most established medical college in India. This college is currently undergoing a major infrastructural alteration under Comprehensive Redevelopment Project to meet the present day health necessities of the patients and educational requirements of the students studying at LHMC. This nursing and medical college was the first medical institute that has been built in Delhi soon after it became the capital state in the year 1912. The foundation of the college was laid on during the year 1914 and the college started running from 1916. Since then, this college has produced many nursing graduates, trained doctors, medical graduates, postgraduates. They have also contributed vastly in the areas of medicine in India and also abroad.

They have always upheld very high morals of education and hence it is in the ability of things that they keep their efforts to provide the much-awaited peak level of infrastructure and facilities to the nurses, doctors, faculty, students, and all kinds of health care employees employed in their college and they are associated with Smt Sucheta Kriplani and Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital. They are in the mid of the redevelopment activity going on to achieve the new redevelopment objectives in time or even before their deadline.

They also plan to surge the intake of postgraduate students and also familiarise new post-doctoral position and hire more faculty members.

Application procedure

The mode of applications for most of the advertisements notified by LHMC are via offline. Visit the careers page of their official website and go through all the eligibility conditions mentioned in their notification. Apply only if you are an eligible candidate for the post. There would be an application format given along with their official notification. Take a printout of that application form and fill up all the details. Attach other supporting documents such as vigilance clearance certificate, integrity certificate and attested copies of other documents required as per their notification. Application has to be sent to their recruitment address and that has to be reached well before the deadline. They do not accept any applications that reaches them after the deadline or incomplete applications.

Mode of selection

The mode of recruitment for LHMC depends the position. For some positions they recruit through interviews and for other notifications they conduct a written test followed by an interview. Check their notification clearly to understand their selection procedure for that particular job role.
