The full form of NBCC is National Buildings Construction Corporation Limited. This is a blue-chip Navaratna enterprise that comes under the government of India and it is a central public sector company. This undertakes trades publicly in the market. The company’s current areas of operations are divided into three main groups, that is (i) engineering, procurement and construction, (ii) project management consultancy that includes redeveloping government properties and (iii) real estate development. Their headquarters is located in New Delhi, and they have 31 regional offices all across all over India. They undertake projects in our country and other countries as well such as Libya, Mauritius, Iraq, Turkey, Maldives, Botswana, Yemen, UAE, Dubai, Oman, Nepal and Africa. This organization has performed various landmark projects that include the redevelopment of government properties such as railway stations, institutions, construction of roads, hospitals and medical colleges, offices, industrial and environmental structures and bridges. They are also delivering their efforts in working as project management consultants started with the aim of redeveloping of Pragati maidan project of our country. Also, they are being utilized by various state governments and a variety of central government ministries as their extended engineering support.

Application Procedure:

Selection process:

For most of the jobs, NBCC does the screening of the applications based on their profile relevance and merit. Shortlisted candidates are called to attend the face to face interview. So there would be an interview and a group discussion. So the final result would be based on their performance in the interview.

For some of the notifications released by NBCC, they request candidates to attend for walk-in interviews and selection would be based on their performance during the interview only if the candidate fulfills all the eligibility criteria. In some cases, they shortlist the applicants based on their merit list and call them for an interview.
