The full form of NCCBM is National Council for Cement and Building Materials. Earlier it was called as Cement Research Institute of India. This was founded during the end of 1962. Their main objective was to promote scientific work and research that is related with building materials and cement trade and industry. On the current day, this is the main body under th administrative control of Ministry of Commerce and Industry, government of India, used for technology transfer, development and industrial services for construction industries and cement and for continuing education. Their main laboratories are located at New Delhi near Ballabgarh, they also have a well established regional centre at Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar and Hyderabad.

Their work span is over the entire fields of cement usage and its manufacturing. That work starts with geological exploration of raw materials through different processes, the manufacturing related aspects, the machinery, environmental and energy considerations to the complete utilization of materials in condition monitoring, rehabilitation of structures and buildings and in actual construction.

They serve as the premium agency to provide the government all the required support for the formulation of its planning and policy that are related to growth and development of cement industry. Application procedure and mode of selection

Visit the official website of NCCBM and click on recruitment. All the notifications of vacancies and latest updates for jobs would be mentioned there. So check for the application you would be interested in. The mode of application for all the posts advertised by all the posts advertised by NCCBM is through post. The application along with recent passport size photograph has to be sent to the prescribed address within 15 days from the date of advertisement. All the details such as name, age, experience, qualification, contact details, postal address should be written on a white paper. Self attested copies of all mark sheets, degree certificates, and experience certificates has to be attached along with the application form. Applications from any other mode would not be considered. Also late applications are not entertained.
