About the Company

Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) is an Indian public sector enterprise (PSU) located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The corporation is administered by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and is responsible for generating nuclear power for electricity.

The company was established in 1987, with primary objectives included i) operating atomic power plants, and ii) implementing atomic power projects in order to generate electricity. Currently, operating with 22 commercial nuclear power reactors, NPCIL is responsible for the end-to-end process of design, construction, commission, and operation of the reactors.

With an installed capacity of 6780 MW, NPCIL has 8 more nuclear reactors under construction with an expected capacity of 6200 MW. Hence, one can expect many job openings to deploy on the new sites once the construction is completed.

Application Process

Based on the last 4 years' behavior, NPCIL has been releasing job notifications throughout the year for various types of roles. The most recent notification is for the role of Executive Trainees, Scientific Assistant, Fire Personnel, Non-Technical Staffs, and Senior Assistant Company Secretary. 

Interested and eligible candidates need to follow the below-mentioned process to apply online:

2. Click on the job notification that you are trying to apply for
3. Check the eligibility criteria such as age, qualification and ensure you met the same
4. Ensure to be ready with all the documents such as mark sheets, passport size photo, degree certificates, etc as per the requirement for the job role.
5. Shortlisted candidates will receive all the important information to their email address, and mobile number related to the online application form.

NOTE: 

i) Complete application process is online and they do not entertain any physical documents sent to them via post or in person.

ii) Shortlisting the candidates to the online written exam is highly dependent on the information provided while registering online. Make sure to enter correct and exact details (especially while entering the percentage of the marks).

Selection Process

1. Shortlisted candidates will get an online registration form to fill and submit after which candidates will be receiving an activation link. 
2. The online registration process found to be lengthier as it involves multi-stage registration processes about the education, experience, GATE exam (as applicable), producing a demand draft (as applicable).
3. Upon successful completion of all the mandatory steps mentioned for the role, applicants will receive login credentials to download the Interview Call Letter.
4. Results will be announced based on the candidate's performance in the face-to-face interview.
