About the Institute

RARC stands for the Regional Ayurveda Research Center. This is located at Nagpur city of India. This is initially established by the name Regional Research Center during the year 1972. Later they upgraded to their current name during the year 2020.

The main mandates of this institute is clinical research and to conduct several projects on diseases with the objectives as validation of ayurvedic treatment both in child and mother health care. They also develop clinical research models that are based upon treatment using ayurvedic principles in child and mother health. They also propagate and validate ayurvedic treatment in both child and mother health care. They also contribute in ayurvedic treatment in national health policy.

Since their beginning, 2 collaborative clinical projects, 19 clinical projects were successfully completed by them. They are even having the regular OPDs for geriatric, clinical and general research projects. They regularly perform several parasurgical procedures such as Ksharasutra and jalaukacharana application in anorectal diseases etc. in properly fortified minor operation theatre. Furthermore, they have 16 bedding facility for females and males with very well equipped panchakarma theatres.

Most of the positions they mention in the advertisement would be for a tenure of one year. They might be extended depending on the necessity and if the performance of the candidate is satisfactory. The recruitment is done based on the performance of the candidate during that interview, only if the candidate meets all the eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification.
