RARI stands for Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, located at Nagpur of India. This was established in the year 1972, by the name Regional Research Center. Later it has been upgraded as Regional Research for Ayurveda during the year 1999. During the last month of December this institute is renamed to its current name ‘Regional Ayurveda Research Institute’.
Their institute mainly focuses on conducting various projects and also on clinical research mainly diseases with their objectives as validating of their treatment for both child and mother health care. Then they also strive to develop clinical research models that depends on several principles of ayurvedic and also treatment for child and mother health. Their objectives also include contribution from ayurvedic treatment to national health policy for child and mother’s health. They also validate and propagate their ayurvedic treatment principles in the health care of child and mother.
Since their inception they have successfully completed 2 collaborative clinical projects and also 19 clinical projects. Their vision is to improve evidence for ayurvedic principles in a scientific way, drug therapies through the integration of ancient knowledge clubbing with current day technology and also to make Ayurveda reach people via scientific innovations that are related to preventive, promotive, diagnostics and also for treatment methods. They also try to introduce several scientific researches for a controlled availability of premium quality natural resources, then convert them into desired products as in medicine and then in synergy with related organizations to introduce their developments into several public health systems.
Application procedures
Generally for almost all the positions, the mode of application is through post or courier or by hand. They attach an application form along with their official notification. The candidate has to download the application form, fill it completely and then enclose self attested photocopies of documents and certificates that talk about qualification, experience, age proof, training, etc. they give the list of documents to be sent in their notification itself. All these have to be enclosed and send to the address they mention in the notification. The application form and those supporting documents have to reach them before the deadline. They do not entertain any incomplete applications or applications that reach them after the deadline. Most of the positions are completely on a temporary basis. So pay attention to such details.
Mode of selection
For almost all the positions notified by them, the selection procedure is via face to face interview. After successful submission of the candidate’s application, they shortlist the candidates based on their eligibility for attending the interview. They will inform the candidates same through email or post it on their website. So the shortlisted candidates would have to attend the interview on the specified date with all the supporting documents required. In some cases they might open for walk-in mode of interviews.

They generally recruit for positions such as pharmacist, lab attendant, multi tasking staff, etc. they also recruit for several research positions such as junior research fellow, senior research fellows, etc.
