About the Institute
SVNIRTAR stands for Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research. This institute is an autonomous body under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DIVYANGJAN), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, government of India. This institute is situated in a stunning rural area located at Olatpur at a distance of 30 kilometers from Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
They have a hospital and wards with hundred beds, clinical psychology, operation theatres, physio-occupational therapy services, x-ray and pathological investigations, vocational counselling, speech and hearing, fabrication of rehabilitation of aids and appliances. They also provide aggregate medical restoration for the persons with loco motor disabilities. This institute continued to deliver rehabilitation services in physiotherapy and ocupational therapy, over its three Sub-centres that are situated at Dhenkanal, Cuttack, and Bhubaneswar. They also provide nominal and manpower endowment to Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Guwahati, Assam to deliver complete rehabilitation service and human resource development in north east region of India.
Application Procedure

Mode of Recruitment
For most of the jobs for SVNIRTAR, they generally conduct a preliminary exam that is followed by an interview to recruit candidates for their institute. Eligible candidates would be notified through their registered email id or they post it on their website to appear for the written test. After clearing the written test, those candidates would get an opportunity to attend the face to face interview. The final job offer is based on their cumulative performance in all those rounds. The most deserving candidates would get the job after completing their document verification.
