The full form of THSTI is the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute. THSTI is an autonomous educational institute in the department of biotechnology under the ministry of science and technology, Government of India.

Their mission is to integrate the fields of science, engineering and technology, medicine into translational knowledge. They are thus making the resulted biomedical innovations accessible to public health, thereby improving the health of the most disadvantaged human beings in India and also around the world.

They envisioned as a collective of engineers, physicians and scientists that will effectively improve the quality of people's life by integrating a culture of communal excellence in education, translational knowledge and research with the entrepreneurial spirit to make technologies reach into the public sphere. To fulfill its vision, through long-term partnerships, the THSTI works with other parts of the technology cluster at Faridabad in a regional center for biotechnology training, education, and research (RCB).

Application Procedure:

For most of the posts released by THSTI, the eligible candidates should apply on the institute's website. The application form has to be filled in, documents they mentioned in the advertisement pdf have to be uploaded. They have an application fee for some posts, and the payment has to be made by using online payment through various modes. There would not be any offline payment, or the paid fee would not be refunded once paid.

Other documents that have to be uploaded along with the application form are a passport size photo, a proper CV, matriculation, intermediate, graduation and post-graduation certificates depending on the post applied, relevant work experience certificates, caste or disability certificates in the format prescribed by the Government of India, if applicable. So kindly pay attention to all the details before applying to the posts. Incomplete applications or candidates not qualifying specified requirements would be rejected without correspondence.

For some of the non-technical roles, there would not be any application fees for some positions. So, kindly check all the details before proceeding with your application.

Selection process:

Most of the vacancies are on a temporary basis, they initially recruit on a short term basis and they extend the positions if the performance of the candidate is satisfactory. But not permanent posts.

Shortlisting of the candidates is done on the merit base if the applicants qualify all the necessary requirements mentioned in the advertisement. The mode of selection for almost all the posts is through face to face interview.

For some non-technical jobs, the selection process would be through a written test, skill test, and interview.
