About the Board

Teachers recruitment board, Tripura, in agreement with the requirements under sub-section 1 of section 23 of the RTE Act, National Council for Teacher Education had laid down the basic and compulsory qualifications for a person to be qualified for employment as a teacher in several ranks of classes during the year 2010. It had been inter alia as long as that one of the crucial diplomas for a person to be qualified for selection as a teacher for classes 1 to 8 in any of the schools stated that she or he should qualify the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be led by the right Government in agreement with the guidelines made by the National council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The important functions of TRBT includes preparation of guidelines or principles on the issues concerning to selection of teachers at several levels of schools. They also conduct of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Classes I to V and VI to VIII (Elementary Stage) and also conduct other selection tests for recruitment of teachers for classes IX-X (Graduate Teacher) and classes XI-XII (Post Graduate Teacher).

Application Procedure

Online Application can be submitted by logging on to their official website. While applying online the candidate must ensure that they understand and fulfil the norms of eligibility. Create an account and log on to their official website using those credentials. Click on 'Apply Online' link. They can login by entering the Registration and Password. After login update your profile by entering all relevant information as per the online application form correctly. Enter all the details required and upload all the supporting documents. Submit the form after entering all the information correctly. Finalize the application if all information is entered correctly. Make payment from the link provided in the home page of the applicant. Payment can be done through the credit card/ Debit card/ lnternet Banking facility of any leading bank. Once finalised, the application form can no more be edited. So before finalization make sure that all information entered is correct.

Mode of Selection

Candidates will be called for scrutiny of documents depending on the number of vacant post and weightage they score. The weightage will be calculated as mentioned above and will be given in the online Application Acknowledgement. Depending on the number of post, a number of candidates will be called for scrutiny of documents. Candidates who remain absent on the scheduled date of Scrutiny of mark sheet, certificates, documents etc; the applicant’s candidature will be summarily rejected without further notification. Candidature of Candidates, who submit online applicationS, disregarding the eligibility/minimum educational qualification/other criteria/ terms and conditions etc. as laid down in this notification will be rejected without further communication. Candidates must fulfil all eligibility criteria / terms and conditions of this notification.

Various positions available at TRBT

Different positions recruited by TRBT are mainly for teachers. They generally recruit various positions such as under graduate teacher for classes 1 to 5, graduate teachers for classes from 6 to 8.
