The full form of IBPS is the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). This is an autonomous body that started to implement and evolve world-class processes of assessment and selection of candidates for various client organizations. The foundation of this body is made based on the philosophy of accuracy, confidentiality and speed in all its activities. It endeavors to achieve this through a mix of academic expertise and technology. 

This provides its service to all public sector banks, associate banks of RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, SBI, few corporate banks, LIC, SBI and insurance companies. These are all regular members of the IBPS society. Find the official notification and go through it thoroughly. Click on apply online and enter all your details in the application form. Upload all the required documents online and finally, submit your application form before the deadline.

Check for all the eligibility criteria like educational qualifications required, age limit, work experience if needed, etc. Submit your application form only if you fulfill all the eligible criteria.

Selection process:

The selection process is generally through written examination and interview. They shortlist the candidates based on their application form. Shortlisted candidates are called for a written test; the same would be notified through email; they mention in the application form. You should carry the necessary documents that they specify in the advertisement while attending the written test. On clearing the written test, there would be a face to face interview. The final job offer is given to the candidates on successfully clearing the interview.
